Yoga Teacher Immersion
Balanced Yoga School’s unique curriculum facilitates a deeper understanding of self and builds confidence in your ability to teach yoga. This Yoga Teacher Immersion provides insight and life-changing tools that encourage personal growth and balance into your daily life. You will learn to teach an all-levels vinyasa flow class, understand how to modify classes for varying levels and learn the basics for constructing your own sequence. Upon completion you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance and pursue teaching in studios, gyms and online.
Monica Fayad, Balanced Yoga School’s founder and lead teacher, is one of the area’s most experienced teachers with over 22 years of teaching, over 1000 hours of education and almost 10 years training and assisting teacher training.

Monica's knowledge of yoga, anatomy, compassion for others and connecting with one's inner self is powerful and inspiring. I am so thankful for having been given the opportunity to complete my 200 hour YTT with Monica at Balanced Living Yoga School. From the first night, Monica made a point to get to know each of her students and she facilitated a strong community amongst ourselves with group work and discussions. Her love and passion for yoga was apparent in each of our meetings as she helped us gain strength and confidence in our own practice with adequate class and teaching time. Due to her vast knowledge of human anatomy, Monica gave detailed instructions for learning physical postures, hands-on adjustments, and body safety and mechanics when teaching others. She was encouraging, genuine and patient throughout our training and I would highly recommend her school to anyone wanting to receive a solid foundation to learn and teach yoga and the asanas.
I didn’t know what to expect when I started yoga training, but I quickly knew I was right where I was supposed to be. Monica created a judgment free environment where over the course of the following months, I witnessed not only myself, but my peers, open up and fully embrace the process and each other. We were given the safe space to allow ourselves to become completely vulnerable as we took our individual journey in discovering our full potential through yoga. I found my passion to teach along the way. But, most importantly, I found my voice. I found community. And I found the confidence to share my love and newfound teachings of yoga with others. Monica has an exceptional supporting cast in her guest instructors and experts. The curriculum was well rounded and easy to follow.
